Acadian Plant Health™ Joins Global Seaweed Coalition To Advance The International Seaweed Sector
Dartmouth, NS, Canada – June 26, 2023 – Acadian Plant Health™ has officially joined the Global Seaweed Coalition to facilitate the emergence of an international seaweed sector, with global safety standards, grounded in science. The Global Seaweed Coalition, formerly Safe Seaweed Coalition, aims to tackle the need for a safe and sustainable food source for a growing population.

The Global Seaweed Coalition is a global partnership established by Lloyd’s Register Foundation in partnership with the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) to oversee the safety and sustainability of the seaweed industry as it scales up.
As a member of the Global Seaweed Coalition, Acadian Plant Health will work together to establish a seaweed industry that provides safe products, safe working conditions and environmental protection as it grows.
